Williams scores 26, Utah Valley tops NJIT 81-58

OREM, Utah (AP) — Isiah Williams scored 26 points and Utah Valley remained unbeaten in the Great West Conference with an 81-58 victory over New Jersey Tech on Saturday night.

Holton Hunsaker added 19 points for the Wolverines (13-10, 3-0 Great West), who have won six straight. Geddes Robinson had 12 points and 18 rebounds, and Keith Thompson scored 11 points.

Utah Valley outrebounded the Highlanders 55-27.

New Jersey Tech (9-11, 2-2) got 19 points from Isaiah Wilkerson and 17 from Chris Flores, but nobody else had more than six. The Highlanders struggled across the board with their shooting, hitting only 38 percent from the field while going 4 for 20 on 3-point attempts and 6 for 14 from the free-throw line.

Utah Valley converted on 11 of 24 3-point attempts, shot 41 percent overall from the field and hit 22 of 31 free throws.
