Yale defeats Dartmouth 62-52

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Reggie Willhite scored 16 points and Yale overcame 19 turnovers to beat Dartmouth 62-52 on Saturday night.

Dartmouth overcame a seven-point halftime deficit, 33-26, to lead briefly in the second half before the Bulldogs took control. Trailing 44-43 with 8:47 to play, Yale went on a 15-4 run to lead 58-48 after two free throws by Austin Morgan with 37 seconds remaining.

Morgan added 10 points and Greg Mangano grabbed 10 rebounds for the Bulldogs (13-5, 3-1 Ivy League), who have won five of their past six. Mangano, who surpassed 1,000 points in his career on Friday, was held to single digits for only the third time this season.

Dartmouth shot only 35 percent (21 of 60) from the field and were outrebounded 36-32.

Tyler Melville scored 14 points to lead the Big Green (4-16, 0-4), who have lost three in a row and nine of their past 10.
