EDMONDS, Wash. (AP) — Police in Edmonds, Wash., say bottles filled with a common household chemical exploded inside two trash cans at a high school after pressure built up inside the bottles.
The principal of Edmonds-Woodway High School told parents via email that the Monday morning explosions were confined to the garbage cans in the school’s cafe area.
Michelle Trifunovic says no one was hurt and there was no property damage.
KIRO-TV says Edmonds police are investigating.
