COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Sure, No. 3 Ohio State finds itself at the top of the Big Ten standings entering the week.
But the Buckeyes (19-3, 7-2) are aware that they don’t give out trophies for winning games in January.
All of their remaining games will be played against teams which have received points this season in the Associated Press Top 25. Five of those nine opponents are currently ranked, starting with the Saturday showdown at No. 19 Wisconsin. The Buckeyes will later host the Badgers, and also play No. 9 Michigan State both home and away. In addition they have a return engagement 23rd-ranked Michigan on Feb. 18.
The Buckeyes have won four in a row, but know that their work is cut out for them.
