FIS sets makeup dates for 2 men's super-G races

OBERHOFEN, Switzerland (AP) -- Two men's World Cup super-G races that were wiped out by poor weather conditions in January have been rescheduled in Switzerland and Norway.

The International Ski Federation says Swiss resort Crans-Montana will stage a race on Feb. 24 to make up for the Jan. 20 race in Kitzbuehel, Austria.

Kvitfjell in Norway will host a March 2 race to replace one lost Sunday at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.

FIS says that Friday date will be changed to a downhill if one of the scheduled World Cup races in February is canceled.

Two downhills are planned for Chamonix, France, this weekend, and a third is scheduled for Feb. 11 on the new Olympic course in Sochi, Russia.
