Girls basketball: Stevenson 51, White Salmon 31

Jen Rathgeber had 23 points and eight rebounds to lead Stevenson into back into second place in the 1A Trico League.

Stevenson took control with 17-6 advantage in the third quarter after White Salmon led 14-8 after the first quarter.

Stevenson is 9-4 in league, just ahead of La Center at 8-4. Stevenson needs to beat Ridgefield on Friday to finish no worse than tied for second and keep alive hopes for an automatic berth into the district tournament.
