Vancouver pilot in plane crash improving

Pilot Hannibal Woodward was in serious condition Monday at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, an improvement from when he was first admitted. The 41-year-old was seriously injured after his Kitfox plane had mechanical problems and crashed between the Pearson Field runway and Fort Vancouver on June 27.
