Fiddlers Afleet wins Belmont’s Chasin’ Wimmin’

NEW YORK (AP) — Fiddlers Afleet drew off to a 7 1/4-length victory over Uncle T Seven, the even-money favorite, on Friday in the $85,000 Chasin’ Wimmin’ Stakes for New York breds at Belmont Park.

The 6-year-old, trained by David Jacobson and ridden by David Cohen, raced to his seventh win in 25 starts, running six furlongs in 1:09.72 on the fast track.

Fiddlers Afleet paid $9.70, $3.70 and $3. Uncle T Seven returned $2.60 and $2.10, and Be Bullish paid $4.10 to show.
