Salmon Creek Farmers’ Market to open for season

Salmon Creek — Beginning its third season, the Salmon Creek Farmers’ Market opens July 12 behind Biscuits Café and the Wayside Market at 1315 N.E. 134th St. Open from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursdays through September, the market offers agricultural and fresh food vendors, live music and cooking demonstrations by the NW Culinary Institute of Vancouver. A 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday market opens July 17 at the entrance to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, 2200 N.E. 139th St. and features produce and processed foods only.
