MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Bucks have re-signed free-agent forward Ersan Ilyasova to a multiyear deal.
General manager John Hammond announced the move Thursday without releasing terms.
The 6-foot-10 Ilyasova started 41 games for the Bucks last season, averaging career-highs in points (13.0 ppg), rebounds (8.8), assists (1.2) and shooting (49.2 percent).
The four-year NBA veteran, the 36th overall pick in 2005, is a native of Turkey who played two seasons in Spain before joining the Bucks. He joins a frontcourt that seems suddenly crowded with the acquisition of veteran center Samuel Dalembert, draft pick John Henson and Drew Gooden, among others.
