ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — The Tampa Bay Rays have reinstated outfielder Matt Joyce from the 15-day disabled list.
Joyce, who missed 23 games because of a left oblique strain, was in the lineup for Tuesday night’s game against the Cleveland Indians.
To make room on the roster, infielder Will Rhymes was optioned to Triple-A Durham.
