KWRL Babe Ruth has advanced to the state championship game.
KWRL, representing Kalama-Woodland-Ridgefield-La Center, defeated Kelso 4-2 in the tournament at Castle Rock.
Austin Zimmerman allowed six hits and one earned run in 6 2/3 innings in picking up the win, while Trevor Huddleston closed out for the save.
Trevor Huddleston was 2 for 4, and Aaron Shoup was 1 for 4 with two RBI.
KWRL faces Twin Cities (Centralia/Chehalis) at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Castle Rock High School for the title.
