ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Michigan has suspended defensive end Frank Clark after authorities say he took a laptop from a campus dorm room.

A statement from coach Brady Hoke called it a “serious accusation.” Word of the suspension came Monday, the same day the team said it suspended running back Fitzgerald Toussaint after he was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of drunken driving.

University police spokeswoman Diane Brown says Clark was arrested June 19 following the June 14 theft of the $1,800 laptop at Stockwell Hall, where he was living. He is charged with second-degree home invasion and was released on bond June 20.

A message was left Tuesday with a lawyer listed as representing Clark. He’s due before a judge again Aug. 2 in District Court in Ann Arbor.
