The Ke Kukui Foundation is bringing the culture of Hawaii to downtown Vancouver with the annual Ho`ike & Hawaiian Festival. The day-long event will feature performances by hula dancers, Polynesian singers, native tribal dancers and Portland Taiko drummers. Arts, crafts and food vendors will fill the festival, and provide visitors with a chance to play traditional Hawaiian games and other activities.When: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.

2. Jazz in the vines

Portland saxophonist Patrick Lamb will perform as part of Bethany Vineyard and Winery’s summer concert series. Lamb, known for mixing funk, pop and jazz with R&B, will be inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in October.

3. Camas Days shine

Camas Days, a small-town celebration, begins with a free pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at the Camas United Methodist Church, Northeast 14th Avenue and Garfield Street. Downtown streets will be filled with arts-and-craft vendors and food booths starting at 10 a.m. Rock climbing, bounce houses, slides and more will fill a street dedicated to kids activities from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Festival highlights include the Camas Days Grand Parade, beginning at 11 a.m. along Northeast Fourth Avenue, and the Bathtub Races, which will start at 1 p.m. on Northeast Fourth and Franklin Street. Live blues and classic rock by Stranded and Zuzo Blue will finish off the night. Performances start at 5 p.m. along the Wine and Microbrew Street for those 21 and older.

When: 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday.

4. Pancake celebration

Cedar Creek Grist Mill celebrates the berry season with Blueberry Pancake Day. Visitors can partake in whole-wheat pancakes made with flour freshly ground by the grist mill and mixed with local blueberries. Tour the 1876 mill to learn about turning wheat into flour and take some home.

When: 1-4 p.m. Saturday.

5. ‘The Watch’ rocks the block

Using neighborhood watch meetings as an excuse, a group of guys get together one night a week to escape their humdrum lives. But when they discover space aliens are posing as ordinary residents, only Evan (Ben Stiller), Bob (Vince Vaughn), Franklin (Jonah Hill) and Jamarcus (Richard Ayoade) can save their neighborhood — and the world — from the invasion. “The Watch” is rated R.
