Play hoops on the river to benefit Share

Vancouver — Registration is open for Share's 2012 Hoops on the River 3-on-3 basketball tournament.
The seventh edition of the tournament will be held Aug. 17-19 at Vancouver Landing. More than 900 players and 8,000 spectators are expected to attend. Teams can register online at http://sharevancouver.org.
Entry fees per team, by division, are $150 for the elite divisions (6-foot and taller; shorter than 6-foot; women); $125 for adult and youth (grades 7-12); $110 for youth (grades 3-6); $60 for grades 1-2.
There is no charge to enter the wheelchair and Special Olympics tournaments.
The fees rise on Aug. 1. All entry forms must be received by Aug. 10. Included with each team entry fee is a free kids clinic scheduled for 2-4 p.m. on Aug. 17. All proceeds benefit Share and the hungry and homeless in Clark County. Last year's tournament grossed $58,745.
