MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — University of Montana quarterback Jordan Johnson has been charged with raping an acquaintance in February.
Missoula County Assistant Chief Deputy Attorney Suzy Boylan filed the sexual intercourse without consent charge against Johnson in state court late Tuesday afternoon.
The felony charge stems from allegations by a woman identified as Jane Doe who told authorities that Johnson raped her while they watched a movie in her room.
Boylan writes that bail has not been set and that Johnson’s attorney has assured prosecutors that the quarterback will appear voluntarily when summoned.
