WOODLAND, Wash. (AP) — A body was recovered Sunday from the Columbia River near Woodland.

The Cowlitz County sheriff’s office says it was spotted by a boater and recovered by divers with Cowlitz and Clark County fire departments.

The sheriff’s office says the body had likely been in the water several months. The Cowlitz County coroner’s office will try to identify the body and cause of death.
