TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona’s offense lit up the scoreboard again on Sunday night, this time sealing the Tucson Regional championship with a 16-3 win over Louisville.

Arizona scored forty seven runs on fifty eight hits in three games in the regional.

Johnny Field had seven RBIs on Sunday, finishing a triple short of hitting for the cycle.

His grand slam over the left field wall in the third inning put the Wildcats (41-17) ahead for good. Louisville (41-22) had only given up double digit runs once in 61games, but Arizona compiled 32 runs in two nights against Cardinals pitching.

Sophomore starter James Farris (7-3) struck out seven in throwing a complete game for Arizona.

The Wildcats will play St. Johns and will likely host the Super Regional at Hi Corbett Field in Tucson.
