LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. (AP) -- A 41-year-old man accused of killing his mother and his nephew with a hunting rifle in a home just outside the Portland suburb of Lake Oswego has been arraigned on two charges of aggravated murder.
Adrien Graham Wallace appeared Tuesday in Clackamas County Circuit Court and is due back in court Friday. The Oregonian reports (http://is.gd/xNSErI ) he's jailed without bail and is on suicide watch.
In court documents, deputies say he confessed to shooting 71-year-old Saundra Sue Wallace and 16-year-old Nicolas Juarez on Monday evening "as they tried to leave."
Sheriff's documents released Tuesday offered no motive.
The newspaper says the Mountain View, Calif., boy had been visiting his grandmother and the two were preparing to head to California for a family reunion.
