Kent council bans medical marijuana gardens

KENT, Wash. (AP) -- The Kent City Council voted 4-3 Tuesday night to ban medical marijuana dispensaries and collective gardens.

Many of the 150 people at the meeting pleaded with the council to allow the drug. Council members said the state medical marijuana law is too vague.
