Letter: B.G. schools meetings lauded

I am grateful to the Battle Ground Public Schools for the excellent construction management on past projects leaving money left over to complete many much needed projects to maintain our dilapidated schools. We can't let any more projects go or we will end up with more expensive building failures in the future. I appreciate the opportunity to voice my opinion at one of the meetings that the district held to give the public the opportunity to comment on this important issue. I was not able to attend the first Yacolt meeting, which I understand the district was required to hold, but then the district offered an extra meeting to gather public opinion.
I appreciate the transparency and professional way in which they allowed the taxpayers and hopefully the next bond supporters to give our opinions. I hope this type of excellent communication ushers in a new era and paves the way for Battle Ground voters to start passing our desperately needed school bonds and levies. Good job. Keep up the good work.
