ALBANY, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say a truck hauling about 18 tons of scrap metal rolled over in north Albany, spilling part of its load and blocking both northbound lanes of Interstate 5 for about two hours Tuesday.
Sgt. Eric Judah says the driver, 43-year-old Douglas West of Vancouver, Wash., was not injured. Oregon State Police cited him for careless driving.
Travelers were detoured around the wreck during the closure.
