Healthy Massaquoi eager to help Browns

BEREA, Ohio (AP) — Mohamed Massaquoi is healthy and ready to catch passes for the Cleveland Browns.

That’s good news for the Browns, because the wide receiver was somewhat limited the past two seasons after suffering concussions.

Massaquoi also missed most of training camp last summer with a foot injury and says at mini-camp Wednesday his main concern this year is staying healthy. That would make him the primary target for whoever wins the Browns’ starting quarterback job — rookie Brandon Weeden or veterans Colt McCoy or Seneca Wallace.

Both team president Mike Holmgren and second-year coach Pat Shurmur have expressed confidence in Massaquoi being a key to improving a passing game that ranked 24th as Cleveland went 5-11 in 2011.
