RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — The Washington Redskins will move their preseason training camp to Richmond beginning next summer.
Sources close to the negotiation who were not authorized to speak publically before an official announcement tell AP a site for the camp has not yet been determined.
The Redskins will keep their corporate headquarters in Loudoun County. They will expand Redskins Park, their full-time training facility.
Loudoun County Board of Supervisors member Scott York says officials are pleased the headquarters and practice facility will remain in the county.
An official announcement was expected later Wednesday.
