Letter: Speech should be equal to all
Saturday, June 9, 2012
George Will, in his June 3 column, "Montana thumbs nose at free speech," finds unremarkable the Citizens United decision holding that Americans don't forfeit First Amendment rights when they join together in corporate entities. I submit that while no such rights are impinged upon, nor should those individuals enjoy additional such rights. You can have more faith than I do. You can have more integrity than I do, but one person shouldn't be able to have more speech than another.
