Letter: Production change benefits workers

I have already seen and been a part of the positive changes at the old Reynolds site and the community since Millennium took over.
I enjoy many of the same activities as a large number of other community members such as fishing, riding quads, and other family activities. It is comforting to work for a company that puts safety and environment over production. Millennium is working to transform this former smelter site into a world-class port facility. They are doing this with a focus on the environment, for example, replacing the old creosote pilings with steel pilings and restoring the existing dock to its original condition.
I embrace the proposed terminal and look forward to more positive changes it will have in this area.
