INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Andrew Luck is finally back in Indianapolis and ready to get started.
The No. 1 overall pick returned to the Colts’ practice field Tuesday for the first time in about 512 weeks, and looked like he hadn’t missed a thing. During a one-hour morning workout in shorts, Luck had only one of his 16 passes in team drills hit the ground — and that was a dropped pass.
He’s expected to go through a longer workout later Tuesday before throwing to teammates for the first time at Lucas Oil Stadium on Wednesday. The three-day mini-camp wraps up Thursday.
Coach Chuck Pagano says Luck made no mental mistakes and that he performed as well as the Colts could have hoped.
