KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Royals outfielder Jeff Francoeur made it a short “Frenchy Quarter” night against Milwaukee on Wednesday night, and manager Ned Yost followed him right out the door.

Francoeur was ejected in the second inning by plate umpire Dan Iassogna for arguing a called third strike, and Yost was tossed in the fourth inning when Iassogna ruled the ball dead on a bunt attempt by the Brewers’ Nyjer Morgan that replays showed should have been in play.

It was Frnacoeur’s fifth career ejection and the 27th for Yost.

One of the Royals’ promotions this season allows fans to purchase tickets for $21 — which matches Francoeur’s jersey number — for Thursday night home games in the “Frenchy Quarter,” a section of seats overlooking his position in right field.

Fans also receive a T-shirt and drink coupon with their ticket. There were several hundred of them wearing the yellow shirts for the Brewers game.
