BROOKLYN, Mich. (AP) — Chris Buescher held off Alex Bowman by 0.054 seconds Friday to win the ARCA race at Michigan International Speedway.

Buescher won for the second time this season and has six top-10 finishes in eight starts.

Matt Lofton was third in the 200-mile race, followed by Brennan Newberry and Brandon Davis.

The 19-year-old Buescher, from Prosper, Texas, is second in series points. He finished second last season, too.

Pole winner Joey Coulter finished ninth Friday. Buescher was ninth in qualifying.

Brennan Poole led for a race-high 59 laps. There were five cautions on the newly paved surface at MIS.
