Letter: Feds don't follow their own rules
Friday, June 15, 2012
We're in serious need of some reorganization in our government. I have had the honor of working for a world-class corporate bank. One of the best in its class. I worked in collections and have dealt with some interesting high-profile accounts in our government. I have also dealt on the other end, with business owners who had their assets frozen by the IRS.
Unfortunately, most of these businesses were not able to stay afloat, because their credit was ruined after everything was said and done. Our government does not feel creditor debt is important to pay when they freeze your assets.
If you're going to be in a position where you are dealing with people's money and assets, you should be required to have a clean credit background yourself.
