Ryan Dungey races to 3rd straight victory

MECHANICSVILLE, Md. (AP) — Ryan Dungey raced to his third straight AMA Pro Motocross victory, sweeping the 450 Class motos Saturday at Budds Creek MX Park.

Dungey, the Red Bull KTM star from Belle Plaine, Minn., increased his lead in the season standings to 54 points over Suzuki’s Mike Alessi.

Kawasaki’s Broc Tickle, from Holly, Mich., was second in both motos. Alessi, from of Victorville, Calif., was third overall, finish fourth in the first moto and third in the second.

In the 250 Class, Kawasaki’s Blake Baggett, from Grand Terrace, Calif., raced to his second victory of the season. He finished second in the first moto, and won the second.

Baggett extended his lead in the season standings to 13 points.
