Heat lead Thunder 47-46 at the half

MIAMI (AP) — LeBron James scored 16 points, including a three-point play with 50.4 seconds left to break a tie and help the Miami Heat take a 47-46 halftime lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night.

James also had eight rebounds for Miami, which got 11 points from Dwyane Wade and two clutch 3-pointers late in the half from Shane Battier.

The teams entered Sunday tied at a game apiece in the best-of-seven series.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook each had 13 points in the half for the Thunder, who trailed by as many as eight before taking the lead in the second quarter.

Miami led 26-20 after the first quarter, with James, Wade and Chris Bosh scoring the team’s first 18 points.
