Letter: State losing battle for revenue

Now that you can buy alcohol in almost any of the grocery stores in Washington, it appears many are now buying the alcohol in Oregon at supposedly cheaper prices, and we are losing revenue needed in Washington state.
Maybe it's now time for Oregon clerks to ask the major question always asked here: "Are you a Washington resident?
