Letter: Aerial incendiaries insensible

Please let's get rid of aerial fireworks. Every day after the Fourth of July, I drive the county and look at all the evergreen hedges with blackened holes in them.
It's past time to keep our celebrations sensible and low to the ground. So many people are unnecessarily maimed, buildings are burned, animals injured. When will this conflagration stop?
The only people who benefit are those who sell these incendiary devices. And they're doing it on the backs of people who cannot and should not be purchasing these deadly "toys."
