Boy feared drowned in Snake River at Burbank

BURBANK, Wash. (AP) — A 14-year-old boy is missing after a boat sank in the Snake River at Burbank.

He was one of five people in the boat when it sank early Sunday morning, just after midnight. Four made it to shore.

Searchers were unable to find the boy Sunday.

Walla Walla Sheriff John Turner told KNDO (http://is.gd/hAyYFd) it was tragic for the family and also heartbreaking for searchers. The search involved deputies from Walla Walla and Franklin counties, the Coast Guard and Columbia Dive and Rescue.
