Clark County Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help in finding a man suspected of robbing a Salmon Creek bank Monday morning.

The robbery was reported just after 9:30 a.m. at the West Coast Bank at 13305 N.E. Highway 99. Victims told deputies a middle-aged man entered the bank and gave a note demanding money, sheriff’s Sgt. Alex Schoening said in a release.

No weapon was seen or implied, he said.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 5 foot 6 inches tall, wearing a jacket, jeans and sunglasses, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian. He weighs about 230 pounds, has short, brown hair and was carrying a soft-side lunch box, Schoening said.

The man left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Deputies were unable to find the suspect in the area, Schoening said.

Anyone with information on the suspect should call 911 immediately.
