Leadership group spends day in prison

Larch Mountain — Business and government leaders involved in Leadership Clark County toured Larch Corrections Center on May 18. The session gave the class an opportunity to spend the day in prison while gaining a sense of the wide variety of challenges that law and justice systems face and how former inmates reenter the community. The group toured the waste water facilities, Department of Natural Resources automotive and welding shop, living units, the Cuddly Cats program and the recreation area.
