KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Kansas City Royals have recalled left-hander Everett Teaford and outfielder Jason Bourgeois from Triple-A Omaha and optioned left-hander Francisley Bueno to the Storm Chasers. Catcher Humberto Quintero was designated for assignment.
Teaford was slated for start on Wednesday against Tampa Bay.
