HOUSTON (AP) — The Houston Rockets have taken Kentucky forward Terrence Jones with the 18th pick in the draft, their third and final selection of the first round.

The 6-foot-9 Jones played only two college seasons, and averaged 12.3 points and 7.2 rebounds last year, helping the Wildcats win the NCAA championship.

Earlier, the Rockets took Connecticut guard Jeremy Lamb at No. 12 and Iowa State forward Royce White at No. 16.

The 6-5 Lamb entered the draft after just two college seasons. He averaged 17.7 points and 4.9 rebounds for the Huskies last year and became just the sixth sophomore in Connecticut history to score 1,000 career points (1,060). The 6-8, 270-pound White averaged 13.4 points, 9.3 rebounds and five assists per game last season.
