CHICAGO (AP) — Julie Wojta scored 24 points, and No. 11 Green Bay pulled away in the second half for an 85-56 victory over Loyola of Chicago on Thursday night.
Wojta was 9 of 14 from the floor, part of a 53 percent shooting night for the Phoenix (26-1, 16-1 Horizon), who reached the 26-win mark for the eighth time in school history. The Phoenix had already clinched the Horizon League regular-season championship.
Stephanie Sension added 14 points for Green Bay, and Adrian Ritchie and Lydia Bauer had 10 apiece.
Monica Albano led the Ramblers (12-16, 7-10) with 14 points and Patrice King scored 10.
A Katie Kortekamp 3-pointer pulled Loyola within 23-21 midway through the first half, but the Ramblers wouldn’t get that close again. Green Bay responded with an 11-0 run en route to a 39-27 halftime lead. The Phoenix led by as many as 30 in the second half.
