Body found west of Vancouver Lake
Major Crimes Unit investigating

Vancouver police are investigating the death of man whose body was found Friday morning by a passerby.
At about 11:20 a.m., police responded to the northwest end of Northwest Erwin O. Rieger Memorial Highway, west of Vancouver Lake, after someone walking on a trail reported spotting a body.
Emergency crews arrived and found the deceased man.
Detectives from the Vancouver Police Department's Major Crimes Team are investigating. No further details were available.
Called about the case on Friday afternoon, police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said she had no more details and that the Major Crimes Unit was out at the scene.
