SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle police say one person is in custody following an incident in which a King County Metro officer was stabbed.
Police spokesman Mark Jamieson says details are sketchy, but the officer suffered a cut to his hand and a stab wound to his shoulder. He was transported to a hospital but the wounds were not believed to be serious.
The assault occurred in the Wallingford neighborhood late Friday morning. It isn’t clear if the Metro officer had been aboard a bus or what prompted the incident.
