Suicide prevention program offers training

The Youth Suicide Prevention Program is offering a free training series for parents and community members concerned about preventing youth suicide.

The training sessions will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at Battle Ground United Methodist Church, 10300 N.E. 199th St.

The first session, “Coping with adolescent stress and depression,” is March 8.

The second session, “Bully Safety: Saving Lives,” is April 12.

The third session, “Prevention Works!” is May 10.
