SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Nate Wolters scored 31 points as South Dakota State whipped Southern Utah 63-47 in the semifinals of the Summit League tournament Monday night.

Jordan Dykstra added 17 points for the second-seeded Jackrabbits (26-7), who will take a seven-game winning streak into Tuesday night’s finals against fourth-seeded Western Illinois.

Wolters, who has reached double figures in every game he has played this season, also had game highs of seven rebounds and six assists.

Damon Heuir scored 14 points for the sixth-seeded Thunderbirds (14-17).

In beating Southern Utah for the third time this season, the Jackrabbits shot 51 percent (23 of 45).

South Dakota State led only 30-29 early in the second half. But the Jackrabbits blitzed the Thunderbirds with an 11-0 run, sparked by five points from Dykstra, to pile up a 41-29 advantage with 14:59 left.

The lead never sank below nine after that, and it peaked at 17 twice.
