KETCHIKAN, Alaska (AP) — Three Washington state residents are being held in Ketchikan on charges of drug misconduct.
The Ketchikan Daily News (http://bit.ly/yFnmKv) reports 44-year-old Daniel Kenneth Grbich, 31-year-old Misty Michelle Stefnik, and 46-year-old Scott David Farabee were arrested Ketchikan’s state ferry terminal after they reached the southeast Alaska city. All are from Puyallup (pew-AL’-up).
Ketchikan Police Lt. Joe White says officers executed a search warrant and found Grbich carrying 3.5 ounces of methamphetamine, which has a street value of about $50,000. Officers also found a scale and plastic sandwich bags.
Police say Stefnik was found with about 1.5 ounces of methamphetamine. Farabee was searched and also found to be carrying the drug.
