KETCHIKAN, Alaska (AP) — Three Washington state residents are being held in Ketchikan on charges of drug misconduct.

The Ketchikan Daily News (http://bit.ly/yFnmKv) reports 44-year-old Daniel Kenneth Grbich, 31-year-old Misty Michelle Stefnik, and 46-year-old Scott David Farabee were arrested Ketchikan’s state ferry terminal after they reached the southeast Alaska city. All are from Puyallup (pew-AL’-up).

Ketchikan Police Lt. Joe White says officers executed a search warrant and found Grbich carrying 3.5 ounces of methamphetamine, which has a street value of about $50,000. Officers also found a scale and plastic sandwich bags.

Police say Stefnik was found with about 1.5 ounces of methamphetamine. Farabee was searched and also found to be carrying the drug.

White says methamphetamine sells for $300 to $350 per gram and an ounce yields 28 grams.
