EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Three people who pleaded guilty to assault or burglary charges in an attack on a man who had been having sex with a 14-year-old girl were sentenced Wednesday in Lane County Circuit Court.

Prosecutors say Roxanne Simona Reed led her 21-year-old son and a 19-year-old friend in the attack last November that began as an attempt to rescue her 14-year-old daughter.

The Register-Guard reports (http://is.gd/b0BTB8 ) Reed was sentenced to nearly six years in prison. Her son Vincent Rodriguez was sentenced to more than seven years, and friend Flavio Alberto Villa got 18 months.

The stabbing victim, Markus Andrew Quillen, later pleaded guilty to third-degree rape and supplying the girl with marijuana.
