MEN’S BASKETBALL

Final tally: Clark went 0-2 at the NWAACC Tournament in Kennewick to finish the season 25-4.

NWAACC All-Stars: Austin Bragg and Derek Owens were named first-team Western Region. Blake Bowen was named to the second team. Bragg also was named to the all-defensive team. Penguins coach Mike Arnold was named coach of the year for the region.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Final tally: Clark went 1-2 at the NWAACC Tournament in Kennewick to finish the season 21-8.

NWAACC All-Stars: Deborah Simmers was named MVP and defensive player of the year for the Western Region; Chelsea Dyson first team; Macy Mukensnabl second team.

BASEBALL

Results: Clark opened the season on Sunday with a doubleheader sweep of Chemeketa 5-0, and 1-0 in 10 innings.

Upcoming games: Saturday at Columbia Basin in Pasco; Sunday at Blue Mountain in Pendleton, Ore.

SOFTBALL

Results: Clark opened the season by splitting four games at a preseason tournament in Richland. Clark defeated Blue Mountain 9-4 and lost to Wenatchee Valley 8-0 on Saturday; lost to Columbia Basin 2-1 and defeated Big Bend 9-3 on Sunday.

Upcoming games: Inter-Region Tournament at Salmon Creek Sports Complex, March 17-18.
