FOREST GROVE, Ore. (AP) -- Police say a 48-year-old Oregon man accused of beaning a fast food restaurant worker with a breakfast sandwich has been arrested for investigation of harassment and disorderly conduct.
Forest Grove, Ore., police Capt. Mike Herb said the Breakfast Jack hit the Jack in the Box employee in the back of the head Thursday afternoon. She wasn't hurt.
Herb says the customer ordered at the drive-through window, then went inside to complain about his curly fries. The police spokesman says an employee explained that curly fries are more expensive than regular fries, then reportedly gave the man an order of regular fries as well.
The man started to walk away, then began chucking food.
The manager wrote down a license plate number as the customer left.
Police arrested Lawrence Staley of Banks in his hometown.
Forest Grove is west of Portland.
