MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota receiver Ge’Shun Harris has been dismissed by the team after being charged with felony credit card fraud.

Coach Jerry Kill made the announcement on Thursday. Kill says he made the decision immediately after being made aware of the charges facing Harris.

The 20-year-old Harris was charged with financial transaction card fraud for allegedly using a stolen credit card that police say he took from a person’s bag at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport on Monday.

It’s the latest run-in with the law for Harris, who pleaded guilty to petty misdemeanor theft in December and also faces a shoplifting charge in St. Paul.

The junior college transfer had one catch for 28 yards last season.
