VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — Nearly 200 students attended a candle light memorial at Cascade Middle School for a 14-year-old girl who took her own life.

Friends of Eden Van Horn and her older sister Audri said she had been bullied at school and online.

The Columbian reports (http://is.gd/rxTFr6) they urged others at the memorial Thursday night to be good to each other and accept each other’s unique quirks.

Audri told KATU (http://is.gd/ZNSWyq) Eden had changed her appearance several times in an effort to get a group of girls to stop harassing her. She was found dead Tuesday.

Vancouver police say they have no evidence to indicate bullying rose to the level of a crime. The Evergreen School District is investigating.
